At the beginning, you are given your favorite magic trick and a handful of assistants. With their help, will you succeed in following in the footsteps of Dahlgaard the Magnificent and ultimately call the legendary Trickerion Crystal your own? Choose your illusionist and embark on a journey into magical worlds. Just like the characters, most of the magic tricks are inspired by the Golden Age of Magic, the early 20th century. However, they do add a touch of the supernatural, so you can never be sure whether their tricks are actually just illusions. On each of your turns, you'll visit various locations in Magoria, including the city center, the marketplace, the dark alleys, and the theater. There, you'll hire new assistants, acquire suitable equipment for your newly learned magic tricks, and work on perfecting them in your workshop. You'll conclude each game round by performing your breathtaking illusions to reap fame and fortune. For only the most glorious among you, who pursued their goal fearlessly and without regard for the consequences, will be able to inherit Dahlgaard the Magnificent's legacy at the end of the game.
