The world ended 71 years ago ... Pandemic Legacy - Season 2 is an epic, cooperative game. You don't play against each other, the game plays against you. Your actions have an impact on later games: You change the game board and the game components, receive additional material and experience a continuous story. No two worlds will ever be alike! The plague came out of nowhere and ravaged the world. Most died within a week. Nothing could stop them. The world was doing its best. It wasn't enough. For three generations we, the last scattered survivors of mankind, have lived on floating islands that we call “refuges”. Far away from the epidemic, we can supply the mainland with supplies in order to protect the people who have remained there - and thus also us - from being completely defeated. We keep a network of the largest known cities alive. But this has become more and more difficult in recent years. Several more distant cities have fallen off our grid ... Tomorrow a small group of us will be leaving to find out how the rest of the world is doing. We don't know what to expect. Pandemic Legacy - Season 2 is a standalone game; you don't need Pandemic Legacy - Season 1, Pandemic or one of the expansions to play. The contents of the games with yellow and black boxes are identical.
